William's Carnations
William’s Carnations focuses on site-specificity; designed for the alcove space at the Textiles Museum of Canada in Toronto. This work incorporates a 19th century floral pattern called “Carnation” by William Morris. It is a theatrical curtain made of rose petals evoking the romance and drama of the period. It speaks of love and death: pleasure and pain.
