Seeing Through

Wax and flower garment pieces are presented in an installation titled Seeing Through. The installation occupies 5 public windows in a pedestrian walkway.  The project addresses ideas about window display, the commodity and the seduction of marketing.    The work is both critical and complicit. Ironically, in drawing closer to these beautiful objects one is quickly repelled by the feeling of pin pricks and the vulnerable bits of flesh and blood revealed.
